The Gospel: How Is a Person Saved?

Is salvation earned, dispensed, or received?

Human beings cannot repair sin by moral achievement, ritual, money, heritage, or religious status. Salvation is God’s gift through Jesus Christ. Christ lived, died for our sins, rose bodily, intercedes for believers, and will return. Saving faith receives Christ and produces a life of repentance, obedience, and love. Obedience is fruit, not purchase price.
