THE UNFINISHED REFORMATION · INVESTIGATION 22
The New Earth
Is the Christian future an escape from creation or its restoration?
The Bible ends with resurrection, judgment, and a renewed creation where God dwells with His people. The final hope is embodied, communal, and free from death, sorrow, pain, and sin. Redemption restores what sin damaged.
Reformation principle. Biblical hope is not an immortal soul escaping earth forever. It is God making all things new.

STRONGEST OBJECTION OR ALTERNATIVE READING
Examine the challenge
Biblical apocalyptic imagery is richly symbolic. Symbolism does not make the promised defeat of death and renewal of creation unreal.
