Which Day Is the Sabbath?

What day does Scripture actually identify?

The seventh-day Sabbath appears in creation, the Ten Commandments, the prophets, the life of Jesus, and the apostolic narrative. Scripture consistently identifies the seventh day as the Sabbath. The New Testament never contains a command changing the Sabbath to the first day. The issue is not whether Christians may worship on Sunday or any day, but whether Scripture transfers the sanctity of the seventh day to another day.
